In partnership with Torrens University, The Blue Mountains International Management Hotel School (BMIHMS) recently orchestrated an array of evening functions for a group of alumni living and working around Suzhou and Shanghai, China.
The events were held from March 28-29th 2017 under the guidance of BMIHMS alumni ambassador Mr. Val Cook and a team of diligent BMIHMS China campus staff. Before stopping in Suzhou and Shanghai, Mr. Cook previously held alumni events in Asian cities like Singapore, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hong Kong, Macau, and Beijing.
The first event on March 28th took place in Suzhou's dazzling Tonino Lamborghini Hotel & Resorts, closely followed by Le Royal Meridian in Shanghai's City Center on March 29th 2017. A robust mix of Chinese and Australian campus alumni congregated for informal gatherings with drinks and canapes.
Both events enabled alumni to mingle, socialize and catch up on years spent apart. It is our hope that these events will encourage further contact and collaboration, fostering a sense of community between these groups of exceptionally gifted BMIHSM alumni.
BMIHMS is now proudly commencing its 26th year of operation. Since conducting its first graduation ceremony in June 1993, BMIHMS now has over 4000 graduates who are enjoying living and working all over the world, many in high profile positions across a number of industries.
BMIHMS China anticipates to conduct more events like these in the future, with the desire to obtain more alumni in the participation of these gatherings. If you have any news or updated job details please connect with BMIHMS alumni ambassador Mr. Cook via:
